Bookings

Bookings must be made by using the booking system on this website and a credit card. Book-direct rates will not be charged until 5 days before the arrival date.
Short-notice or last-minute bookings (within 5 days before the date of arrival) are to be paid in full on the day of the booking.
For groups (9+), 50% of the total price will be charged on the day of the booking when booked 6-4 weeks in advance. Short-notice bookings (< 4 weeks) will be charged in full on the day of the booking.
Bookings are not confirmed until a confirmation note by Húsavík Green Hostel has been received.
Check-in time: 17:00-20:00 / Check-out time: 10:00. The reception is staffed during check-in times. Self-check in upon request 20:00-22:00.
Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, economic changes or inflation. Bookings already made and confirmed are not affected by those changes.

Cancellations

Cancellations of bookings must be done by email. A booking is considered cancelled when the cancellation has been confirmed by Húsavík Green Hostel.
For cancellations up to 5 days before arrival there will not be any cancellation fees.
Cancellations 5 days and less before the arrival date and no-shows will be charged the full amount.
Group cancellations are free of charge up to 6 weeks before the arrival date. Groups will be charged 50% of the total price when canceled 4-6 weeks before the arrival, and the full amount if cancelled less than 4 weeks before the arrival date.

Your personal data and credit card information will be treated strictly confidential by Húsavík Green Hostel. It will be used for booking and correspondence purposes when staying in Húsavík Green Hostel and will only be stored for the duration of business relations. Your data will neither be published nor will you receive any unrequested promotional material after your stay. This website does not use cookies.
